the film's protagonist, Irene, has been one of my necklaces all the movie goddess and this is important for the argument. The story is suspenseful, well done, and although in Catalan can still not understand this language. Lasts 11 minutes. My friend Carmen Gallego wrote the story and script. What is Kirtan?

simply kirtan chanting is usually accompanied by music.
The word kirtan comes Sanskrit. Means "glory." Comes from the Hindu practice of chanting the name of the divine in all its forms. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, a text says it was written in the second century C., Patanjali speaks of the importance of chanting "om" and make "pull"-the repetition of the names of God. Many religions and spiritual traditions celebrate the divine song, for example, the Sufis, Sikhs and Buddhists. "Mantra" is other comes from the Sanskrit word which can be divided into two words: "mana", which means mind and "tra" which means "surrender." The Delivery mantra the mind from worldly thoughts to a state of deeper understanding more instinctive or spiritual . The chanting of mantras is a technique a powerful meditation is not tied to a particular religious or spiritual belief. like the song is a great way to cleanse the mind of thoughts, the practice of kirtan is gaining popularity in the West.

HOW IT STARTED MY INTEREST IN Kirtan

Before I knew what was the kirtan, I learned to play percussion
Arabic to deepen my understanding of the rhythms for belly dancing. He played the darbuka, the zaggat and later I became interested in the tambourine. me Layne Redmond released the kirtan in a percussion workshop. It is also the author of When drummers were women. A Layne did you add rhythm to the mantras on his experience as a yoga teacher. Study with her inspired me to learn more about the music of kirtan and mantras.

EXPERIENCING Kirtan

I play percussion and singing with friends at the Integral Yoga Center in San Pere de Ribes in a kirtan on Friday afternoon. I find drumming, I find it incredibly soothing. The vibration of the drum is from the outside in and the song vibrates from the inside out. I was drawn to Kundalini yoga by its connection with the mantra music and because I am a dancer. Move to the sound of music in a yoga class I find it natural. When I became a yoga instructor, two musicians of very talented mantra, Gurudas ass Singh and Kaur Gurudass directed my teacher training I dalini Kun ga.

the past 8 years, I had the honor of playing percussion act co n many of my favorite artists mantra in the annual 3HO Kundalini Yoga Festival held in France. In these photos, was playing with Gurudass Kaur and Sada Sat Kaur .
I have attended concerts by people who know the local yoga community known Western artists in the kirtan, Snatam Kaur and Krishna Das. I look forward to attending a workshop and concert Krishna Das here in Spain. His last concert and the workshop they did here was tremendously inspiring.

If you want to see some videos of these artists, you can do here at my youtube channel .

Finally, I discuss a related that I found on the website of my friend Girish ; is a saying of Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Maharaj-ji, an Indian guru who left his body in 1973. Many contemporary musicians mantra as Krishna Das, Jai Uttal and Girish studied with him or have been under his influence.

"The constant repetition of God's name, with or without finer feelings, including anger or lethargy, puts forth his grace in the form of the everywhere."

Hiw To Remove Salt Stain From Emus

circle Information Page web The Millionth Circle by Jean Shinoda Bolen with permission.

The Vision
A proliferation of circles with a spiritual center becomes a force "healing" worldwide bringing feminine values, cultivating those relationships, caring for others and interdependence, a global culture in which hierarchy, conflict and competition, power over others and the exploitation of the planet's resources are the dominant values. Our goal is to celebrate the "Millionth Circle" as a new idea whose time has come.

All persons who have been attracted to the idea of \u200b\u200b"millionth circle" are part of that vision, and any event or circle conducted to advance the training of more circles with a sacred center can be freely defined as belonging to the vision of the millionth circle. _

"Never ever we doubt the ability of just a group of persistent and committed citizens to change the world." Margaret Mead

Guidelines For A Circle

To participate in a circle, only need the desire, the willingness to attend meetings and to agree with established principles. Each group sets its own guidelines. Here are some agreements that have helped to function more successfully circles for all participants.

Create a circle.
Consider a sacred space.
Talk one at a time.
Talk and listen from the heart.
invites and embraces diverse viewpoints. Listen
curiosity rather than trial.
Share leadership and resources.
Decide together how decisions are made.
works toward a consensus as far as possible.
offers instead of advising experience.
When in doubt or have a need for guidance and asked quietly.
Decide together what is going to keep confidential.
Speak from your own experiences and beliefs rather than speaking for others.
Speech closes the circle listening to all voices. Upwelling

for a circle

Create a sacred space. This includes preparing a physical space to accommodate participants in a circle, usually with a center table or altar.

Listen with compassion and to hear his wisdom. This includes listening without an "agenda," leaving aside any opinion, curious and wise to find meaning in the statements of others.

Speak from your heart and from your own experience. Speak one at a time. This includes saying what is true for you and go to the center of the circle, not to another individual.

offer our experience and feelings to the circle, not our advice. Also, talk about each one and invoke "a talking piece" when it is necessary to ensure that we are all ears. Invites

silence and reflection when necessary, in you and in the circle. This includes listening to our inner guidance before speaking. Also, we ask for silence and reflection in the circle when we feel it is necessary.

Take responsibility for your experience and your impact in the circle. This includes showing respect for yourself to and discipline. We look to ourselves to ensure that our needs and expectations are met. We strive to add our contribution to the positive experience of everyone in the circle.

Stay confident of the circle. This refers to agreements of confidentiality. What is said in the circle, stays in the circle to help create a safe environment where we can share our experiences and feelings.

makes decisions, when necessary, by consensus. This refers to our decision making process. If participants in a circle need to take a decision, it is generally desirable to reach a consensus. These guidelines may be adopted as a starting point for group agreements in any circle, knowing that each group has the freedom to add or modify as is necessary.
